Design Nation 2021: Building a Distinctive Marketing Agency with Renee Miller, President and Creative Director of The Miller Group Marketing

A serial entrepreneur, Renee Miller founded The Miller Group – an award-winning, woman-owned, culturally diverse digital advertising and marketing agency based in Los Angeles. 

Renee has worked on dozens of blue ribbon accounts over the years including Blue Cross of California (now called Anthem), Disney, RE/MAX, GE, 7-Eleven, Kirkland Signature (Costco), Oakland International Airport, TransAmerica Insurance, Wolf Range Company (now SubZero) and PreZero, among others.

 Along the way, she has won numerous creative awards including One Show, ADDYs, Communication Arts and NY Art Directors Club.  She has judged Communication Arts Advertising annual twice.  She’s served as a judge for the ADDY awards more than 10 consecutive years and has been a mentor and judge for The One Club Creative Boot Camp for five years.  

Renee has been named one of the top 75 women-owned businesses in Los Angeles by the LA Business Journal. She has been featured in Adweek, Brandweek, Ad Age, Entrepreneur, New York Times, Los Angeles Times, Marketing Sherpa and dozens of other publications.  She has also guest lectured at UCLA, USC, UC-Irvine, Pepperdine, Loyola Marymount University, Cal State University, Northridge and The Ohio State University.
